Roasted Lentil Soup
A busy luxury of consuming natural food to awaken the soul. Enjoy this beautiful smoke lentil soup with us. Slowing roasting off the lentils combined with sesame seeds makes it more of a recipe you would have a second time moreover.

Smoked Lentil

2 cups brown lentils
1 onion
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 chilli powder
1 tsp salt powder
1/4 gram Marsala
3 bay leaves
2 baby pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 Tsp sesame seeds
1 1/2 litres of vegetable broth.
1. Begin by cutting the onion and peeling the garlic for pan-frying. Meanwhile, on low heat, set a large pot for roasting all ingredients.
2. Once the pot is heated, coat the bottom with olive oil, then add all the ingredients for roasting, Do not add both at this point.
3. Mixing well to combine all the ingredients, allow to roast for 2-3 minutes before mixing again. Allow the roasting process for 5-8 minutes. Once roasted, begin to add the vegetable broth. Cover allowing the lentils to soften. (to your desire)
4. Removing the bay leaves at this point, begin to pour the softened lentils into a glass blender. Blend until the lentils have been completely pulsated.
5. Pour into a serving bowl and enjoy adding your favourite!
(For the process of boiling the lentils; we did not allow them to boil until they have lost shape. The reason for this, we love a thick consistency and enjoy eating our soup with crackers or breadsticks)
