Putties No-bake Cheese Cake
The perfect cheesecake for small gatherings.
Serves 8
All ingredients used for this recipe are plant-based and lactose-free
Ingredients
360g shortbread biscuits
1/2 cup melted butter
340g fresh cream cheese
1 tsp orange flavoured essence
1 sachet of Vege gelatine
1cup icing sugar
1/2 cup double cream
4tsp warm water
The zest of two organic orange
Start by grinding the biscuits into fine pieces, once completed add to that the melted butter then mix to fully combine.
Layer your pan will greaseproof paper then begin to spoon in the biscuit butter mix. Pressing to form a layer then transfer to the fridge to set for thirty minutes.
In a bowl, add the gelatine and water mix well and set aside; this will cause the gel to form a thick case.
Pour into a large bowl the fresh cream cheese, icing sugar, essence and orange zest, mix well to combine. Add to the mix, cream and combine.
Scoop one table of the cheese mix add to the gelatine mix and fully combine. Once completely mixed add to the large bowl of cheese and combine,
Pouring onto the biscuit layer, spread the creamed cheese mix evenly then transfer to the fridge to chill until the cheesecake has set.
Cut and serve.
