Beef Pate
Wow, for all that are brave enough to try this here is our take on creating our newly invited met tester.
We have from time to time tried store-bought beef, chicken and shrimp paste to set as our testers before our friends are ready to eat their main.
Today we are going to share how we are able to create our own pate adding all organic ingredients which make it even better than what is so often purchased and not organically based.
Beef Pate
Serves: 6
1/4 cup beef liver (organic)
14 of red pepper (roasted)
1/4 yellow pepper (roasted)
1/4 green pepper (roasted)
1 cube garlic
1/4 Chilli powder
1 Tsp honey
1 Tsp liquid smoke
1 Tbs powdered cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for sprinkling
Begin by seasoning and boiling the beef on medium to high heat for 30 - 35 minutes. Once completed, set aside to cool.
Wash and dice for blending the peppers and garlic.
Place into a food processor all the ingredients pulsing until all have been fully pulsed into a thick paste. As this step is complete, place the beef pate into a container and serve.
This can be stored in a tight seal container and eaten within a week.
Here at Gook Cooking we will continue to share what we get up to in the kitchen. Our aim is to always do so with ingredients that are low budget. We hope that as you to are able to make what we share a dish in your home we are able to enjoy it just as we have.
