Summer Sunday's is never this good when waking up to a freshly baked roll stuffed with exotic spice mince. Being able to spend a little extra time in the kitchen does wonder for idle hands. These magnificent rolls are always an easy bake and steal once completed and stuff with any filling of choice.
These roll are super easy and fun to bake with children as they bask in being able to bring small creations alive that will be enjoyed once baked.
Here we have decided to share this simple recipe with you that's ideal when budgeting with a small family or for anyone who just wants to have fresh bakes for small gatherings.
All of what we post here is basically what we purchase on a low budget, which makes it so special to use to have to share it here with you.
1/2 cup water (Lukewarm)
1 tsp yeast
3tbs granulated sugar
3/4 tsp salt
4tbs milk powder (brand we used, Nido)
1 large egg
1 small egg for coating
2 cups organic flour
3Tbs butter
In a large bowl combine the water, yeast, sugar, milk salt and egg together. once well combined begin to add the flour bit by bit until all in added and combined. At this point, the dough is of a sticky and soft texture.
Knead until the flour does not stick to your hands.
Begin to mix in the butter allowing to flour dough
to be smooth to the touch.
Using a rolling pin, roll each section of dough 2cm thick, then roll placing each roll onto parchment paper in a baking pan. Cover for 10 minutes allowing the dough to rise.

Again, these lovely rolls are easy to make on a budget. Here we share with you our occasional roll that is served when we have small family gatherings.
