Beef and Vegetable Stew
As the winter weather sets in we have completely dive back into make lot of chowders and stew. Here we post one of our heart warming, delicious beef and vegetable stews.
1/2 kg beef cubes
1 cup peas
2 tbs tomato puree
1 celery stick
1 carrot
1 green onion
1/2 brown onion
3 small white potatoes
2 cloves garlic

1/4 salt
1 tsp white pepper

1.5 ltr beef stock
1 ltr warm water
Begin by cutting and cleaning the vegetables once completed set aside.
Clean and cut into small bite-size pieces the beef, once completed, season with salt, pepper and browning. Mix completely, allowing the meat to be fully saturated with the seasoning, set aside for five minutes.
In a large heated stock, pot adds the beef, cover allowing the beef to brown. On completed, add to the pot the beef stock and garlic cloves, allow the beef to boil until the stock reduces and the beef is softened, for about an hour.
Then, add to the pot warm water cover and allow the liquid to reduce to three-quarters of the amount.
At this point the stew is now at a stage of completion, add the peas, tomato puree and corn starch. Reduce the heat to medium, stirring the stew for three minutes then allowing it to simmer without covering for another two minutes.
Once completed garlic with your favourite herbs and serve.
~~This stew can be store in the freeze for about a week and reheated. The ingredients listed can serve four people and can also be eaten anything throughout the day~~
