Steamed Turkey Drum-let
Slow cooking allows a constant supply of moisture and seasoning through any sort of meats you have decided to cook. By choosing turkey meat and this method, it allows the turkey drum-let to stay juicy and tender. The advantage of this method, it doesn't allow the liquid to evaporate quickly as would in a conventional oven.
To begin we collected our ingredients shown in the list below:
1 Turkey drum-let
2 carrots
2 tbsp mild curry powder
2 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbs dried herbs

1 medium onion

6 dried tomatoes
1 handful fresh thyme

1.5 ltr water (warm)

Begin by cleaning the drum-let with citrus water. Once cleaned pat dry and begin to season with salt, pepper, dried herbs, oil and smoked paprika. Complete rub the entire drum-let ensuring it has been fully seasoned, covering and set aside.
Peel and cut the carrots into bite side pieces, cut the tomatoes, onions and garlic.
In a large pot place the onions, fresh thyme, turkey drum-let and all other ingredients into the pot. Pouring over lukewarm water and curry powder. Cover and allow to slow cook for 2 - 3 hours.
Once completed serve and eat with any of your favourite sides.
What we served alongside our steamed turkey drum-let were a light black olive spinach salad and honey mustard cold pasta.
