Chicken Vermicelli
To begin we collected:
1/4 cup vermicelli
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp tarragon
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried parsley
2 tbs tomato sauce
1/4 browning
1/2 tbs soften butter
1/2 cup lukewarm water
3 tomatoes
1/2 red and orange sweet pepper
1/2 red onion (cut into chunks)
Handful of raisins
Salt and pepper for seasoning and oil for frying, we used vegetable oil.
On low heat place a pan with oil for frying off the chicken.
Start by seasoning the chicken and set aside for dusting.
Mix in a bowl flour and dried tarragon, mix well to combine. Placing the drum-lets into the flour mixture begins to coat them ensuring they are fully coated for pan-frying.
Carefully, place the drum-lets into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, after frying place them onto a cool surface.
Pouring off the oil hot, do not clean the pan. Placing back onto the heat begin to add all the spices, allow the spice to cook until you can smell the aroma as you stir. Once cooked, pour in the vermicelli and mix well to combine.
Add the chuck onion and pepper mixing well to combine.
Place into the mixture the fried chicken, butter, browning sauce, raisins, dried parsley, tomato sauce, and water, cover and let steam on low heat for 15 minutes.
After the cooking process has been completed, place the tomatoes in and cover to steam for another 5 minutes, remove from heat and serve hot or can be eaten cold.
