Oatmeal Porridge
Good mornings begin with that perfect morning starter. Today ours began by picking fresh strawberries from the back garden that manifested today's breakfast porridge. With these simple collectable ingredients, you too can have a sunshine morning as we did.
Cooking time 10 minutes
2/4 cup oats
2 tbs powdered milk
1/4 cup liquid milk
1/4 cup water
4-star anise
1 stick cinnamon
In a food processor place 1/4 of the oat in, blitz until the oats are finely chopped into a powdered form.
Bring to a low boil a pot with water adding the powdered milk, liquid milk and spices. Allow to boil for 3-4 minutes then begin to slowly add the powdered oat followed by the remaining oats.
Stirring as the porridge begins to bubble up forming a creamy texture. lower the heat, continue to stir the porridge preventing it from burning for another five minutes. Once completed serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy.
Remember before serving removes the spice stick and enjoy.
