Sticky Lips Chicken Wings
Ready for a meal that your fingers will not resist reaching for? Well here is a delicious bowl of delight which is with every bite will send you back for more, then much more. Kicking off this recipe that is not fully ours, we were able to bring back the flavours as they hit our palates for the first time we tried, with a twist! Enjoy every minute as you gather and prep to create these little gems.
With caramelize, colour and a pop of ginger sweet taste, every bit of its tiny seeds are sure to be a dish that will be tried one time moreover. Here we share with you sticky fingers, sticky party wings.
Ingredients
1 kg Chicken wings
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup sugar
4 Tbs corn starch
2 eggs (medium)
3 Tbs fresh ginger (grated)
3 Tbs butter
6 cloves garlic
sesame seeds to garnish
Oil for frying
Heat on low to medium set a medium frying pan on heat with oil for frying.
Season and cover overnight, the wings, allowing them to marinate. In a medium bowl pour in the wings, eggs, corn starch and ginger, mixing to coat.
Begin by placing the wings in the pan of heating oil frying until each side is lightly cooked brown in colour. Fry until all the wings are completed, then set aside in a bowl for the second frying.
Turning up the heat (using the same oil) at this point to medium to high, once heated, place the wings back for the second frying. Fry until the wings are fully cooked, set aside to cool.
In a large saucepan or wok bring to low heat, begin by adding the butter, honey and garlic, mix to combine. Pouring into the mix, all the wings followed by mixing fully to coat all the wings. At this stage sprinkle with the seeds to garnish and enjoy.
We will not carry on in expressing how we have enjoyed these wings and know you too will find the same pleasure in serving these to your family for dinner, fingerpicking or the party you just do not know what to cook. This dish is easy to prep and cooks on a budget.
