Young B nut Squash Soup
Yet another soup that is simple and easy to make in a matter of minutes.
With a few ingredients, this is what we have created resulting seconds after being served.
This blended soup with its aromatic taste combined with fresh thyme and a hint of garlic taste compliments the soup so well that we're sure you too will enjoy it. Now, let's get cooking!
1 medium butternut squash
1 small onion
1 Tbs butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
2 bay leaves
2 garlic cloves
3 sprigs thyme (fresh)
1 vegetable cube
Preheat a saucepan of water (5 cups) on medium heat.
Start by cutting washing and cutting in cubes the squash, along with the onion. Transfer to an already boiling pan of water. Add to the pan garlic, bay leaves, fresh thyme and salt, along with the squash allowing to boil until vegetables are slightly soft.
Once soften, add butter, turmeric and vegetable cube, mixing well to combine.
Transfer hot ingredients to blender then pulse at high speed until the mixture is smooth in texture.
Garnish with any cheese of choice and enjoy!!
