Bringing this dish together was a bit difficult as we had to choose from an array of fish lying before us. Summing it down, here is a plate of fried mackerel which was served with bread, steamed banana, steamed coconut dumpling, steamed polenta and fried okra.
The two ingredients we used is just what you would have in your pantry and not have to run out to purchase.
The benefits of eating mackerel are that it has high levels of essential fatty acids, which improves endurance and is a nutritious fish. This fish helps maintain beautiful skin and aids in recovery after exercise. Mackerel can be eaten fried, steamed, roasted, baked and fried which is what is shared here, so here are the ingredients that help us to bring friends over.
8 fresh Mackerel
2 1/2 cups flour
4 Tbs Black pepper
lemon to serve
vegetable oil
Heating a frying pan with oil on medium heat in prep for the dusted fish.
Mixing together the flour and pepper dried in a medium-size bowl, then fully coating the mackerel.
